Last Saturday for our day adventure we went and hiked to Franklin Falls. It was a beautiful drive especially once we got off the freeway and into the forest.
The hike was so beautiful. You hike along a river which has lots of different spots that you can go down to the water to do some exploring. Paige loved all the rocks to climb.
Baylor loved being outside the entire time and was a happy camper being packed around.
All sorts of fun things to climb on!
The first little lookout and small waterfall.
We took a little break to have a quick snack and water break. Paige did awesome and hiked all of it herself. She is always up for an adventure and loves to be out in nature.
We made it to the falls and where all the people were. Franklin Falls is below the freeway and today they were doing construction on the road so it was pretty loud but it was really pretty.
Getting Baylor to look for a selfie is hard work especially when there are so many other things to look at. :)
Baylor loved sitting and playing with the rocks and digging her feet into the dirt.
Building her own rock tower.
Got Baylor to look at the camera this time even though that cute tongue is hanging out.
When you got close to the waterfall it was pretty chilly but so beautiful.
Baylor fell asleep as soon as we got her back in her pack. She was one tired girl and slept for the hike back.
We enjoyed a picnic on the river before heading home. It was such a beautiful day and I love days like these with my family.
