We got a fort kit from Nona and Papa for Christmas and Nate set up a sweet fort that we all enjoyed and had fun crawling in.

A Day at the Museum

A few weeks ago we all went to a couple of museums in Tacoma and we went on the day that they were free. It was neat to see all the things about the history of Washington and to see what people can do with glass. It was a fun outing with our small family.
This little girl was so happy to be free and crawl around.
We then headed over to the Museum of Glass.
We walked over the bridge which has all sorts of things to look at that are all made of glass.

Disappointment and Excitement

Last Friday we decided to go to and see Flaming Geyser and get some fresh air. We forgot a lighter though so we couldn't light the flame and we couldn't even go up on the trail because it was a second degree criminal offense if we tried. Nate was really disappointed with the whole trip but it was nice to walk around. I am always so amazed by how green it is even in January here. I guess I come from a state that is really brown during the winter.
Last Saturday we went up the Space Needle. It was absolutely incredible and such an amazing view of Seattle!
Mt Rainer floating in the distance.
Seattle was getting reading to break the record for the biggest snow ball fight. They brought in loads and loads of snow from the mountains and that night Seattle was successful in breaking the record.

It's A New Day in the Northwest

Last Monday, Anna, Margaret, and I went to a local TV show called a New Day in the Northwest. It was fun to be in the small audience and see how a TV show is set up. It was entertaining to see the applause sign and Anna was very precise in her clapping and made sure she stopped when the sign turned off even if she was mid-clap. It was fun to listen to all the different segments and talk to all the people on the show during commercial break. The really exciting part was that I won tickets to the Amaluna Rehearsal Show in Seattle. I was super excited when they called my number because I usually never win anything. So Nate and I changed our plane tickets so that we are staying longer in Washington so we can go to this show.

Feed the Birds

Last week Nate and I took Paige to the park and fed the ducks. Paige got to wear her new hat for the first time and she actually kept it on her head the entire time. When we started to get close all the birds knew what we were there for. Seagulls were flying all over the place and all the ducks came running to get some delicious sourdough bread. Paige just stared at everything going on and enjoyed being outside.

Then we walked over by the lake and took some pictures and then played on the playground- swung on the swings, rode on the merry-go-round, and went down the slide. It was nice to get out and get some fresh air.
