TGIFF

I know this is a day late but yesterday we were traveling to Idaho so I didn't get this done so here it is today.

This week I decided to feature:
Brett Hill or to me Coach Hill

I made the t-shirt quilt for my dad but since I already featured him I decided to do this feature on Coach Hill. When I was sewing the quilt it brought back so many memories. I loved cross country in high school and Coach Hill was the reason why. He always believed in all of us and helped us achieve our best. He was one of the most amazing coaches I have ever had. He always had such good stories, does magic tricks, and gives the best talks to inspire you, makes the most incredible doughnuts and pizza., and encourages you to push you to your best. He not only is an amazing coach but an amazing math teacher. I am very grateful for the influence that Coach Hill had on me.

Too Cute

Nate's favorite model for taking pictures is the cutest little girl in the world.
There are times when she doesn't cooperate but that always makes for some fun photos. :)
But most of the time she is a good sport and is so good at being cute.
Update: Every week we enjoy getting together with Julia, Wyatt, and Jessica. It is so fun to let the kids play and entertain each other so that Julia and I can just relax and enjoy each other's company.

It was beautiful weather a couple weeks ago and Wyatt and Paige both enjoyed the sprinkler and actually got their bodies wet and not just there hands.
Paige liked to put in hair in the water and thought she was pretty funny.
Papa was gone to Scotland for a few days for work and he brought home Paige a candy egg that had a toy in the inside.
We have been going on a lot of walks lately and on this one we went with Dale and Margaret and Anna and Scott and their family and we were usually in the back because we have a little girl that likes to take her time so we paused a moment to take a cute selfie.

TGIFF

I figured since Memorial Day is coming up the perfect feature for this week would be my grandparents. Both of my grandpas served in World War 2 and my grandmas were supporting them the entire time they served.

So here is to my:
Grandpa & Grandma Walker (Lynn and Sharon Walker) and
Grandma & Grandpa Peterson (Lois and Golden Peterson)
My grandparents mean the world to me. I am one lucky girl that I got to have them in my life for so long. I am grateful that my parents chose to move back to Idaho so that I could have an amazing relationship with both of my grandparents. I spent so many hours playing in both of their yards- exploring, learning new things, playing with cousins, and just enjoying life. I have so many memories about all four of them that I will cherish forever. All four of them have always supported me and I know they always will. I love them all very much and am grateful for their examples and their testimonies.

TGIFF

This week's feature is someone that has been a great friend to me. It is.......

Julia Roush

We are pretty new friends. We first met in church and our firstborns are a week apart. I think that kind of connected us- being new moms and everything. We have enjoyed doing many play dates with our kids. It is so fun being with Julia. She is so easy to talk to and I am sure she could be good friends with anyone she comes in contact with. She is also so positive and happy. She laughs very easily which is an awesome feature. I am grateful that I met Julia and that I received a new and forever friend.

A Good Day

Today was beautiful weather so we enjoyed all the sun. For lunch we went with Anna and Brett and Margaret to Game Farm Park. We had a little picnic and went on a short walk that seemed to go on
forever. :)
Then we spent the evening outside just doing stuff in the yard. Nate cleaned out the shed and I planted some flowers. Paige even got to ride on the scooter. She loved it especially honking the horn.
Petyon, Mikey, and Brett came over and they had fun riding bikes, exploring, and eating popsicles.

TGIFF

Today's feature is in honor of Mother's Day so it is for my own mom:

Lauri Peterson or Mom or Grandma
My mom has made me who I am today. She has taught me how to love, how to be caring, how to work hard and play hard, how to be a good person, how to be a good wife, and how to be a good mother. She has always been so supportive of everything that I have done and she is always there for me. She has always been such an amazing example to me. I hope that I am as good of a mother to Paige as she was to me. She is an awesome grandma and all of her grand kids love her. I am so grateful that I went to such an amazing family especially an amazing mother. She means so much to me and always will.

Sunny Days

The last few weeks we have had really sunny days and some really rainy days and we enjoy all the sun that we can. Last week we even got up into the high 80s which was super hot to me but it was fun to be outside all the time.
On one of the hot days we went over to Julia's and Wyatt and Paige had a water play date. They have so much fun playing side by side. We love going over to their house for a change of scenery and we always have so much fun with them.

Julia set up the sprinklers and the kids ran through it about 2 times with the help of their moms and so we decided to try the pool which was a much bigger hit.
The last few days have also been pretty nice so we have gone on lots of walks and gone to park to feed the ducks quite a few times. One mama duck has 11 little babies and they are so adorable.

TGIFF

I decided to stick with someone who had a birthday this week for my feature and that person is:

Dale Smith aka Papa
Dale is a great father-in-law. He is very supportive and is a very good example. He enjoys getting me sweets from Grocery Outlet which I love and it makes me see that he was thinking of me. He knows a lot about Volvo's which is awesome when our car breaks down he can always help Nate fix it. He is also a very great Papa. He loves all of his grand kids and loves to spoil them. He is the candy giver and the kids love him. Paige loves her Papa and always loves to spend time with him. I am grateful for his testimony and he is a great example to me and my family.
