Let Summer Begin

Summer is officially here! It hasn't been the warmest summer so far but when we do have sun we enjoy every minute of it.

Last Wednesday Margaret invited us to go with her and Anna and Eliza to Lake Wilderness to have a little picnic for lunch. It was a beautiful days and the girls enjoyed the little outing and playing in the water.

Nate gets off work at 10 on Fridays which is perfect for us to have an extra day on the weekend to go on an adventure. Our adventure this past Friday was to hike to Twin Falls. It was a beautiful day and really warm but the hike is really shaded so it was perfect. We packed a lunch and ate once we got there and then enjoyed the beautiful hike. Paige did awesome and walked the entire way (it is close to 2 miles round trip). It took awhile to get there like it always seems to when hiking but there is lots to look at and lots of different things to explore.

Towards the end of the hike we took a nice long break to climb on all the rocks and Paige and I put our feet in the water. It was freezing so it didn't last long.

On Monday we went to Covington Community Park because they have a large area full of daisies. Nate sees them at work every day and knew they would be the perfect background for our cute model and he was right. Beautiful flowers and a beautiful little girl.

We are excited for a summer full of many more adventures!
