Cougar Mountain Zoo

Last Thursday Paige's preschool class had a field trip and I got to go with her to Cougar Mountain Zoo. We went there when Paige was a little baby and I have wanted to go back and so this was perfect. I love going on field trips with Paige. It is so much fun seeing her interact with her friends and just spend more time with her.

On the bus- she loves riding the bus since she doesn't ever get to.
This zoo is pretty small but perfect for a preschool class. We didn't have to stay in groups and just got to wander as we please and look at whatever we wanted. Our first stop was the cougars.
Oh how I love this cute girl!
Standing on her tip toes to see the lemur demonstration.
At some of the animals there was some food that you could buy for 50 cents. Paige decided to feed the wallabies. It was kind of hard since there was a fence and she just had to throw the food over the fence to them.
We then walked around some more and saw some different animals and then went to the llamas and some kids were feeding them and Paige got some of the food from a teacher and fed them. I was kind of surprised she did it so willingly but she loved it.
There is a pretty big bird section and they were pretty noisy but very pretty to look at.
All the kids thought this one was funny because he had this large feather in his claw and was waving it back and forth.
It was then lunch time. One of Paige's friends that didn't have a parent with her joined us for lunch. They are so cute together and after lunch they were inseparable.
We went back to the llamas and Paige wanted to feed them again and her friend joined us and they both thought it was so funny and loved it.
For about the last half hour these three cute girls had so much fun running back and forth to all the statues pretending something and were in their own little world. It was cute to watch them interact and see all their smiles.
It was such a fun day and a fun field trip!
