We made our annual trip to Thomasson Family Farm. We have been coming here every year since 2013. It is one my favorite fall traditions. We were lucky with the weather since we pre-ordered the tickets at the end of September so we could get a discount. It was a gorgeous fall day, and we loved the day spent together with family.
We started off with the corn maze. This year's theme was dragons, and Paige did a great job leading us through the maze. We didn't even get lost once. Baylor and McCall took turns leading while Paige directed them where to go. There was also a small junior maze that Baylor got to lead us through. It was very relaxing for Nate and I. We just stayed right behind the girls, soaked up all the sun rays, and talked as the girls led the way.
Then we had a picnic lunch of egg salad sandwiches and enjoyed the things around us; bikes, animals, block building, maze games, and digging in the dirt.
Then we went to a favorite for us all, the corn box.
Then time for some roping and some bubbles. (The pictures on the right of McCall crack me up. She was so determined to do it in the top picture and then when she missed it was her face in the bottom one.)
Paige tried out the mega slide quite a few times and tried to convince Baylor to do it to no avail. I kept McCall and Baylor busy with the giant bubbles while Paige went down over and over.
Then it was a fun story board book as we wandered down the hill for some more fun.
Then some cute photo ops in the pumpkin patch.
Then we went back up the hill the playground area and some fun tractor rides. McCall was unsure about it the first time but was willing to go with Paige. After the first ride, she didn't want to get out. They went again and then later she even went in her own car by herself.
We went back to a few spots that we wanted to do again, and Baylor finally went down the mega slide. It was terror at first, but then she realized she loved it and went over and over along with Paige. McCall was done at this point, so I held her until her sisters were ready to go.
We have some very cute girls, and I love our family adventures together!
