This week was not as consistent for our preschool week. We had things going on and just enjoying some aspects of summer. So Monday we started our W week with going and playing in the water at the lake. Paige and Baylor had fun swimming and playing in the sand. McCall loved lounging on me while napping.
Then Tuesday Baylor did her usual letter tracing and then made a watermelon out of a paper plate.
Wednesday she did a worm craft. She drew the worms and cut them out and then she glued them in the "dirt". We were going to make dirt cups but saved it for later since we ended up having a busy day and went back to the lake with friends and my cousin came to visit.
Then today Baylor made a big collage on a big piece of paper. She drew a big W on it and then created with washi tape. Then once she was done with tape, she painted some with watercolors. The bottom left paper is a cute little dinosaur she made out of tape.
Then to end our W week we finally got around to making some dirt cups with some worms to enjoy. When we were talking about things that start with W, she asked if tomorrow we could make a wolf. I asked her how she knew that wolf started with a w and then she said because it starts with "W" (making the w sound). I was pretty impressed!
