It was a very busy week with it being parent teacher conference week which means Paige was done 3 hours earlier. So a couple of days this week, Paige helped me out in preschool and joined us in some of the activities because we did it in the afternoon.
Monday we started with uppercase and lowercase letter D tracing. I love in the bottom right picture that Baylor wrote dog again all by herself.
Paige set up this craft and helped her do a rainbow dinosaur for the craft for the day.
Then because Paige wanted to she had this fun doctor activity. Paige made this up all on her own and quickly drew a "patient" and had different parts for Dr. Baylor to listen to and look at with our doctor toy set. At each thing that Baylor looked at Paige had written a tiny word that started with the letter D for her to say. I'm always amazed at Paige's mind and her ability to create preschool activities for Baylor.
Tuesday Baylor created a dog puppet. I had her cut out the ears and draw on the face.
Then for the activity I printed bones that had pictures of the things that started with the letter D. She had to dig for them and find them in kinetic sand. Both girls enjoyed it and took turns finding the bones.
Wednesday I had Baylor make a card for Dad and we bought him a little treat.
Then we took it to him at work and played on the playground while we were there.
We also stopped to get some donuts to end our D preschool activities for the day.
Thursday was our last day for the week and she made a desert scene on the letter D. She cut out the sun and one of the cactus and then she colored for quite a while and added lots of details- a rainbow in the sky, little lines for the pokies on the cactus, flowers, and dirt.
Then after school, we had Brett and Eliza over and to end our D week we had dirt cups with them.
