The Good Days

We have had only a few good days where it hasn't been really cold or windy. So the few nice days that we have had we have enjoyed being outside and doing all sorts of fun stuff.

The first nice day we had we went to the Idaho Falls Zoo with my mom and with Derek, Charlotte, and Juliette. It was a lot of fun and Paige always loves to see all the animals.
Looking at the penguins.
What a cute face!
This drinking fountain is always a favorite of the kids.
We got there is time to see these sloth bears get fed. It was entertaining to watch them find all the areas that had peanut butter and avocado hidden.
The monkeys were so fun to watch. One monkey was showing off and swinging all around and hollering at us.
After we were done with the zoo my dad met us at the park and we had some pizza and then went and played on this sweet playground. It was such a great day but didn't have too good of an ending since right before we left Paige got stung by a bee.
This past week we really have had only one nice day. We did lots of yard work and then Erika and Brian came down for the evening so we went on a walk with them along the river.
The newlyweds...
Paige enjoyed getting a stick and then moving leaves in her way.
Cool shades dude.
We had fun throwing rocks into the river.
Then yesterday it was somewhat good weather and we have been wanting to go and pick some potatoes to take to Nate's family. They have been doing a lot of harvesting and Paige has loved watching all the tractors and trucks drive by. So we finally went to someone in the stake that has some potato fields and gleaned some of the potatoes in the field and then went to the cellar and got about 150 lbs of potatoes.
It was super dark in the cellar and the pile of potatoes didn't look that high until our eyes adjusted and there was this huge mound of potatoes that seemed endless. We got some really big Idaho potatoes.
