One day last week I had made a salad for dinner and I put the leftovers in a bag along with a half of a tomato that I hadn't used. I had just given Paige a bath and we came downstairs and Dale had left the fridge open for a moment while the rest of us were in the front room and when we came into the kitchen Paige had found the bag of lettuce and pulled it all out to get to the tomato (Tomatoes are one of Paige's favorite foods). She was happily eating the tomato with a big grin on her face and she was so proud of herself. She is becoming pretty independent which can be difficult at times but it is so fun to see her learn and grow.
