Letter R

With Monday being Memorial Day and Nate and Paige being home, we didn't do preschool that day but the rest of the day was filled with letter R activities.

Tuesday we started off with uppercase and lowercase letter R tracing.
Then for her craft she created a rabbit. She wanted a pink rabbit with black dots and wanted to know how to spell Pinky for it's name.
Wednesday was our robot day. She did a color by number robot, a matching robot activity, and then colored and created her own robot.
Thursday she did a name rocket. I drew the squares and then she cut them out and glued them on her paper. She wrote her name and then added stars, the earth (the big circle on the left of the paper with a small sun on it since the earth has a sun on it according to Baylor) and a moon.
Then we did a little science experiment and grew a rainbow. She colored the ends of a folded paper towel with washable markers. Then I dipped each end into small bowls of water and we watched our rainbow grow and connect.
Friday was our rain day. She first colored her outside scene for rain- grey clouds, sky, a rainbow, a sun, and grass with flowers. Then I had her use her finger to add all the raindrops with blue paint.
Then to end our fun R week and with our talk of rain, Baylor went out and jumped in all the puddles we got from the rainstorm we had yesterday.
