Bring Your Kid to Work Day

June 23rd was bring your kid to work day for Nate. He got to take Paige to it this year and they both had so much fun.

Their day started off at the city hall and they got to see police cars, firetrucks, and the swat cars. Paige even got to meet the mayor. :)
They also did some painting in the city hall. Here is Paige doing her firework poster and she also did lots of other fun arts and crafts.
They also went to a community park and had a nature scavenger hunt and there was a hidden treasure box that all the kids found with gold chocolate coins.
They even got to eat lunch together. They were done at one and then after Nate's work was done we went over to where Nate actually works and he got to show Paige and I all the equipment he works with.
Then that evening Paige got to show me all the stuff she got from the day. She loved every minute of it and the city did an amazing job putting it all together.

She got a cute worker shirt. This is the smallest they had so it can be a shirt she sleeps in for awhile.
She got this stuff from the nature scavenger hunt.
She loved the little recycle bin.
She also got her own name tag to wear at work and got to bring it home with her.
Some more fun things- I love the glasses on her.
Here is more pictures of the artwork she did. The first is her fireworks poster and then her cute American flag hand.
She also got to design her own park. They had a packet of lots of different papers that she got to pick and cut out what she wanted in her park and glue them on the poster.
Her official certificate from the day.
She also spent more time on adding to her park. It kept her entertained for quite awhile.
It was an awesome day that Paige and Nate got to spend with each other and is something they both loved every minute of.
