Like I mentioned in my previous post we have been doing lots of little holiday things to fill our days. We made a list of 50 things to do before Christmas and I think we didn't get to 3 or 4 of them so we were busy and had lots of fun.
We painted some Christmas rocks and hid them at a park on a winter walk, we decorated sugar cookies and the one picture is Baylor's creation with lots of red hot candies, and then one day it was cute to watch Baylor help Pops set some mole traps. She was happy to have her own little shovel and "help" out.
The girls have also been doing lots of Christmas drawings.
On the last day of school for Paige they were able to dress up in a holiday theme and Paige had her reindeer clips and colored a red nose on with some of her body crayons and that night Baylor found them and had fun making herself a kitty and drawing all over her face.
Then tonight again she had more fun. :)
One fun science experiment that was on our list was to make snowflake crystals. You boiled water and add borax and food coloring and made the snowflakes out of white pipe cleaners. We suspended the snowflake with string and a pencil in the mixture and had to let it sit overnight. That night we didn't think it would work but in the morning to our surprise we had crystals.
Another thing on our list was decorate gingerbread houses. The girls loved going to WinCo with me and picking out what candy they wanted and had so much fun decorating. Paige was very detailed and took her time. Baylor was happy to decorate one side and then just wanted to eat the candy and play and build with the Lego candy.

Then last night the girls had a "campout" inside. We set up the tent and Paige slept in it with Baylor next to her on her crib mattress. Baylor had no desire to sleep or even go in the tent but they had a fun night though Baylor was up pretty late but because of that they both slept in until almost 9 which never happens with Baylor. It was a fun little thing to doing during our Christmas break.
We are looking forward to the new year and to all the adventures we are going to have.
