Letters X-Z

We did it! McCall finished her letter ,themed preschool just in time for school to be out for the summer. She loved preschool and always wanted to do it first thing in the morning. She knows pretty much all of her uppercase letters, can cut and write like a 3 year old pro, and loves to learn. She is a great student!

Monday- Letter X for X-Ray Fish. She first did a counting activity with different numbers on each x-ray fish and we used Q-tips to count how many bones each x-ray fish should have.
Then she created her own x-ray fish.
Tuesday was Letter Y for Yarn. She painted and created a wonderful artwork with pieces of yarn being dragged through paint.
Then she did a yarn weaving activity with a paper plate.
Then Wednesday was the Letter Z for Zucchini. I first cut some slices of half of the zucchini and then let her use a butter knife to cut it up in as many pieces as she wanted.
Then she painted with the zucchini. I forgot to take a picture of the end, but her paper was covered in blue zucchini circles.
Then we made some chocolate zucchini bread.
Now onto summer break!
