McCall is continuing to love preschool. She completed the letter S and it was a fun week. Monday, she started with using a star stamp to stamp the letter S.
Then we did some star matching.
Tuesday she did a snake craft out of the letter S. We first looked at pictures of snakes. Then she put on the eyes and drew the tongue. Last she painted on the stripes.
Then for her activity, she played in shaving cream. At first she was hesitant and then pretty soon all of her hands were covered and she was clapping and shaving cream was getting everywhere. :)
Then she had a quick snack of strawberries and sugar.
Wednesday was our snowman day. First, I taped the silhouette of a snowman on a paper and she used chalk pastels to draw all around the snowman. Then she used her finger to smear it. Next, we took the paper off and she added the coal eyes, smile, and buttons and a carrot nose.
Then she did snowman shape matching.
Thursday she started off with sponge painting.
Then she did sensory play with sand, shells, stones, and scoops.
Friday she did a sun craft. I used contact paper so that she could put yellow and orange tissue paper on the sticky part and we created a sun catcher.
Then she ended our S week with her doing stamps.
