Birthday Girl

We celebrated Paige's 4th birthday on Tuesday. She is an absolute delight and I can't believe she is already 4. She is growing up way too fast. She is a very sweet girl along with being very silly too. She loves to tease you and to make you laugh. She is a great helper and loves to help me around the house. She loves barbies, dolls, stuffed animals, little people, and anything crafty (writing letters, coloring, cutting, taping, etc.) Happy birthday sweet girl! I love you with all my heart!

Robert, Christy, Matt, and Lylia had been visiting for a week and Paige loved every minute following Lylia around. They left to go back home the morning of Paige's birthday. Lylia gave Paige the little white bear and she loved it.
I did a lot of preparations during the day including making the barbie cake that she requested. The inside of it turned out perfect and just how I wanted. The outside frosting of it though was a different story. The frosting was not working at all and the bags I was using to try and pipe the frosting on kept breaking. I wanted to throw the cake out the window. It was super frustrating because I imagined it so much better in my head but I just got it done and Paige had a great party.
Her request for dinner was spaghetti, bread sticks, jigglers, and root beer and then it was cake and presents time.
This was the first year that she blew the candles out on her cake on her own.
For about a month we have asked Paige what she wanted for her birthday and her response has always been a Barbie dream pool. We did get it for her but Nate wanted to have a little fun with it. Nate put this pool together for her and this was the first present that was brought out. Her face in the picture is priceless. She was not impressed but really sweet about it.
Then the real deal came out and she was all smiles.
She loved opening all her presents and got so much great stuff. She is very loved!
The inside of the cake was very pretty.
With her dream pool- by the end of the night the pool was full of barbies.
Happy Birthday little girl!
