Winter Storm 2012
This has been an exciting week for us on the western side of Washington. It all started Monday when the snow came and then more snow came on Wednesday. Then today more problems came when the freezing rain came causing the weight to be too much for trees. The power has gone out a few times, school has been cancelled all week along with work, and the governor of Washington said it was a state of emergency because of all the trees falling, icy roads, roads closed, etc. I am very grateful that I am still pretty far from my due date because I might be having a baby at home if I went into labor.
On Monday we had some fun at the park with Scott, Petyton, and Mikey sledding and throwing snow at each other.

Seattle Trip
On Saturday, Nate and I joined up with Jeremy and Katie and went to the Seattle Temple and then toured some favorite sights in Seattle. It was alot of fun!
After the temple we went to Red Robin to eat and then looked around at the Curiosity Shop which is always entertaining to see and I also got a free sample of some fudge which is always a plus. Then on our way to Pike's we stopped to take some pictures of the famous gum wall. Jeremy and Katie were brave enough to touch some of the old gum but that grossed me out a little too much.
At Pike's we walked around, listened to some music, and saw some fish being thrown.

Christmas Break
We spent Christmas Break in Firth and the fun started a few days before Christmas and my friends had a baby shower for me. It was fun to chit chat with the girls again and get some more fun baby stuff.
Then on Christmas Eve we enjoyed the evening at Aunt Sue's and then stopped by Derek and Amy to see the girls in their new pjs and then we got home and opened our own pjs.
Santa came!
Santa even brought baby girl Smith a gift.
Santa also brought a new doll house for the girls for Grandma's house.
We were spoiled this year and are very grateful for all the we recieved.
Then we went to Hidden Treasures in Shelley. It was Nate and I's first time going and this store is so much fun to look around and we could have spent alot more time browsing around.
One night we went to Derek and Amy's and decorated some graham cracker houses.
We spent a lot of time with family and playing with the girls. Juliette loves her Uncle Nate!
We also played lots of different games during the few weeks. Nate and Erika played 70 games of Greed and averaged their scores at the end- Nate was the overall Greed winner.
