7 Months

Paige turned 7 months on Monday! She is growing so fast. She is such a happy little girl and has quite the personality.

  • Scoot around the house like a pro.
  • Get up on her knees like she is going to crawl but then drops back down to scoot to move.
  • Claps her hands.
  • Eats baby food- she loves fruits and is not quite sure about rice cereal and veggies.
  • She reaches for you when you put your hands to her.
  • She scoots to your feet and grabs at your feet and pants when she wants to be picked up.
  • She likes opening and closing books.
  • She likes to pull the DVDs off the shelf.
  • She sleeps in her crib in her own room.
  • She jabbers and squeals.
  • She loves dancing and jumping in front of the mirror. She loves looking at her self.

Family Fun

This past weekend the whole family got to be all together after two years. We all drove down to Oakley and stayed in a cabin. It was a very fun weekend. Friday, Nate and I made dinner and we played a lot of games including oner, the fold game, and Things. We also had birthday party for Juliette who turned 2 on the 18th of this month. Then Saturday we went and explored the City of Rocks. That was so awesome and I would love to go back again and explore even more. We headed back to Firth that evening and then Sunday Karlton spoke in church and spent even more time with family. It was such a fun weekend and I didn't want to go back to school on Monday. I have been looking forward to this weekend all semester and now that it is past it's kind of sad. I guess now I have to look forward to Thanksgiving.

These pictures are kind of out of order because I was too lazy to put them all in order but at least they are on here.

The girls saving Papa with their sticks.
Amy lounging in her rock bed.

Derek was brave and jumping from rock to rock. Amy most likely would have killed him if she were up where we were when he was doing it.
Paige having some fun at the cabin.
Dinner Time.
Party Time.
Oner- it was pretty intense. I guess we are all kind of competitive  Nate bent his thumb back and broke a small toy when he fell on it and I sprained my pinky when Amy plowed me over to get to the balloon.
Aunt Erika trying to be the favorite.
Karlton holding Paige for the first time.
Paige trying on Charlotte's shoes.
More pictures of us exploring the City of Rocks.

Karlton got home from his mission from Riverside California last Tuesday. It was super weird to see him after all this time. It was his first time meeting Juliette and Paige. They both just stared at him and Charlotte was absolutely terrified of him.

Waiting for the plane to arrive.
Seeing the nieces.
 Lots of hugs.

Conference Weekend

First off this little girl loves her exersaucer! She goes crazy and gets so excited sometimes that she hits her head on the seat.
She also likes to stand and hold onto chairs. She will smack her hands down and rub her face into the chair. It is kind of funny to watch.
We went to Firth for conference weekend. It was a very relaxing weekend. Paige has also figured out how to sit up on her own and she is also scooting all over the place.
One morning we could hear Paige and so we went and checked on her and she decided to have some fun with the bumper pads.
We went to Derek and Amy's after conference on Saturday and Paige got to play dress up with Charlotte.
We also got to play with some clay. Derek is the art teacher at Snake River High School and he got to bring home some clay to work with so Nate made some whistles and Derek taught me how to make a piggy bank. It was fun to play with the clay even though my piggy bank looked more like a big pig head with four legs.
While the boys were at the Priesthood session we had girl party of painting our nails. Amy even did Paige's nails for the first time.
Nate thought this was a good place for Paige to eat so she would hold still and it seemed softer than the hard, downstairs floor.
